Finance Trust FUFA Women Super League 2025/2026 – Matchday 12
Full time: St Noa Girls FC 1-1 Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC

Saturday, 21 February 2026 marked the first day of the return of the second round of the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League 2025/2026 season. The #BellesWithGoals hosted Kawempe Muslim Ladies Football Club and it ended 1-1 at the full time whistle.

Facing one of the league’s traditional powerhouses, St Noa Girls FC showed resilience from the opening whistle and kept asking questions!

Kawempe Muslim FC dominated early possession, pressing high and testing the St Noa defence and the closest was when Lillian Nakirya parried away a would be goal bound ball from Agnes Nabukenya in the 17th minute.

As the match progressed, the #BellesWithGoals kept the composure and agility with quick passing and coordination in the midfield led by Imelda Kasemire and Patricia Nayiga who were being supported by Brendah Nassaka.
Just before halftime, our opponents capitalised on a high cross from Samalie Nakacwa which was met by Dorcas Kisakye who run fasted and passed a through ball to Latifah Nakasi who calmly crossed the ball from the edge of the box past Lillian Nakirya.

The second half progressed with both sides sharing processions but not much yielded from either side especially St Noa who were seeking to get an equaliser.

Our head coach made four tactical changes in a bid to get an equaliser. Esther Babirye came on for Faridah Namirimu and so did Martha Babirye in the 53rd and 55th minutes for Imelda Kasemire. Dorcas Lwalisa also came on for Patricia Nayiga in the 68 minute. As the final sub, Brenda Nassaka came off for Sunday Aketowanga in the 74th minute.

The early morning rain did not make the pitch better but instead it started to become wet and soggy and the zeal increased for the #BellesWithGoals to score and pressure on the right wing following the addition of Martha Babirye head into a corner kick which was beautifully taken resulting in the Kawempe Muslim custodian punching it and the resulting ball was met by Barbara Anomo who sent a shot straight into the net.

The 1-1 draw leaves the #BellesWithGoals still in 7th position with 14 points ahead of the next fixture against SHE Mak ladies on Saturday, 28 February 2026.
