Our football and basketball girls team have each been recognised and rewarded following their emphantic defence of the football and basketball trophies at the recently concluded FEASSSA Games 2025.

Our girls team won the football final after defeating Kawempe 1-0 and the basketball team defeated St. Mary’s Kitende 68-41.

Each of the football and basketball players that took part in the games were rewarded with a brand new Hisense refrigerator as a gift and tocket of appreciation. A special dinner in honour of all our players took place at our school premises in Zana, Entebbe road.

“The ability to defend these two titles is a big milestone.” Herbert Walusimbi, the School’s Director stated in his speech.

“This should not be the end. Success does not stop here. We need to build on what we have achieved, to achieve more. Every team player must accept criticism. This success was planned for a very long period of time.
We have been patient, we have been building. I thank the athletes, coaches. It is not coming out of luck. We have been preparing. There has been steady development.” Herbert Walusimbi, Principal director of St Noa Girls SS Zana.  

Lillian Nakirya, the best goalkeeper at the FEASSA Games 2025 who also doubles as the team captain at St Noa Girls heaped the praise on fellow team members. “Football is never a one man’s game. We joined hands as the whole team to make it happen. I am humbled for the collective teamwork” Nakirya remarked.
