The second round of the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League 2026/2027 season is now upon us. We shall host the 2023/2024 champions Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC at our fortress Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku on Saturday, 21 February 2026 in matchday twelve.
Head to head
We have faced Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC twice with the first being in June 2025 when we lost 3-1 to them in the semi-finals of the FUFA Women’s Cup. The last and most recent was last year in the first round when we visited them at the Valley and fell narrowly 2-1. Our consolation goal came from Giovanna Aketowanga.

Team news
Being our first match, all our first team players are available for selection with no injury concerns including our most recent signing Sumaiyah Nalumu who we confirmed on Thursday, 19 February 2026. Other signings are expected to made in due course before matchday according to the information from our technical team.
The trio of players who had been away with the Uganda U20 Queen Cranes for over two weeks also returned to training after the away match to Zambia.

Our opponents
Our visitors Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC are currently top of the table standings with 9 wins, one draw, loss and 28 points. There is no news of any new additions to their team but we have prepared well enough and have what it takes to collect maximum points.

The league organisers have confirmed that our match against Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC will be shown live on FUFA TV with kick-off at 10am.
