Our girls school team St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana made a commanding statement at the 2025 FEASSA Games, kicking off their campaign with a 6-0 thrashing of Rwanda’s PSBB Huye.

The team delivered a performance that can only be described as masterclass football at regional level. Leading the charge was forward Patricia Nayiga, whose pace and precision kept the PSBB defense on their heels throughout the match. Also delivering standout performances were Sylvia Kabene, Esther Babirye, and Mary Ayugi, all of whom were instrumental in building the goal tally.
With the afternoon sun casting long shadows over the Kakamega pitch, our girls wasted no time making their intentions clear. From the first whistle, their dominance was visible sharp passing, relentless pressing, and clinical finishing defined their performance.
Captain Lillian Nakirya marshaled the team with maturity and tactical intelligence, proving why she wears the armband. Her leadership on and off the pitch is clearly one of the team’s strongest assets this year.

“We came here with a purpose to win for our school, our country, and for each other,” said captain Lillian Nakirya after the game. “This is just the beginning. We’re ready for whoever comes next.”
As the tournament progresses, the girls will be seeking to maintain their momentum and push toward the semifinals and beyond. With such talent and teamwork on display, the future looks bright. Stay tuned as we follow their journey through the FEASSA 2025 Games one match, one goal, one victory at a time.
