Two of our players Barbara Anomo and Lillian Nakirya have been named as first and second assistant captains of the Uganda under-20 female national team ( Teen Cranes) ahead of the second round first leg fixture of the World cup qualifier against Zambia.

The announcement was made by the Head coach of the under-20 national team Sheryl Ulanda Botes at a press-conference after the teams final training session at the FUFA Stadium Kadiba. Alongside Barbara Anomo and Lillian Nakirya as assistant captains, the team will be skippered by Agnes Nabukenya.

In addition to Barbara and Lillian, their are also other #BellesWithGoals in the Queen Cranes camp who were also summoned earlier and will be available for selection.

Uganda will host the first leg at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba on Saturday, 07 February 2025 and then later travel to Zambia for the return leg on 14th February 2026.
