Sunday, 25 May, 2025 was a memorable day in the history of St Noah’s Girls FC as it’s when we were crowned Champions of the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Elite League 2025.

We defeated Asubo Ladies 1-0 in a tightly contested final that was held at the Kabaka Kyabbagu Stadium in Wakiso.

The decisive moment came from forward Silvia Kabene, who capitalized on a rare defensive mistake between Asubo Ladies’ goalkeeper Olga Lukia Bitiru and a teammate. A mix-up in the box saw the ball spill awkwardly, and Kabene was quickest to react, tapping home the only goal of the match to seal her side’s triumph.

We were also gifted with individual accorlades that were handed over to Match-winner Silvia Kabene was named the Most Valuable Player of the Season, while goalkeeper Lillian Nakirya received the Goalkeeper of the Season award for her outstanding performances throughout the campaign.
